Effective Advocacy with Federal Administrative Agencies, How to Navigate Your Case – Guardians of the Immigration Galaxy Style.

Panelists will provide an overview of how to effectively advocate for your client when your client is compelled to attend a federal agency proceeding or federal agency examination. Subjects will include: what entitlements and rights does the compelled person have during a compulsory agency proceeding under the APA, the Code of Federal Regulations, and the Constitution; what entitlements and rights does the retained private attorney have under the APA, the Code of Federal Regulations, and the Constitution during his client’s compulsory agency proceeding; how to address an agency employee or agency supervisor who is refusing to honor and accept your or your client’s statutory, regulatory or Constitutional rights and entitlements during the compulsory agency proceeding; and how to litigate to enforce your and your client’s right to effective attorney representation during a compulsory agency proceeding or agency examination.

Michael W. Gahagan is the owner of Gahagan Law Firm, L.L.C. - The Immigration Law Firm of New Orleans.
